There are three types of application form below which are
available in different formats for you to view and print : City water only application - application form for those citizens of the City of Carlisle rateable area who reside more than 5 miles from the City centre and those citizens who operate nets, this entitles the holder to fish for Salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout and Coarse fish on the waters rented from the City of Carlisle : in the river Eden, from the Memorial Bridge downstream to the Willowholme Weir on the left bank, and from the Memorial Bridge downstream to the Iron Fence below Gosling Beck on the right bank. In the river Caldew, from High Cummersdale downstream to Holme Head on the left bank only. Visitor application - application form for any applicants who do not have a permanent residence within five miles of the City of Carlisle to fish for Salmon, Sea Trout, Brown Trout and Coarse fish on all waters rented and owned by Carlisle Angling Association.
